OUR Laser Hair Removal
Imagine Not Having to Shave, Tweeze, Wax or Endure the Tedious Process of Electrolysis Again...
Now with a flash of light, unwanted hair can be gently removed using True lasers. Whether on the face, back, legs bikini line or just about any where, PhotoDerm HR safely and effectively eliminates stubborn and annoying hairs.
Special lasers for hair removal are noninvasive therapy devices designed to eliminate undesired hair from all parts of the body.
The Coolglide Laser produces quick pulses of light, which can be delivered to delicate skin areas with very little risk of blisters or skin damage. The newer Coolglide Laser's deeper wavelength (1064 nanometers), and chilled, gliding handpiece assists in the reduction of skin irritation during the procedure and post-treatment procedure.
Clear gel is placed on the skin just prior to laser treatment to assist in skin cooling and easier gliding of the handpiece across the treatment site, thus helping to minimize patient discomfort. Some of the hair will be eliminated immediately, yet often times, it may take at least two weeks to really notice hair extrusion (hair detaching from the follicles). In some cases patients may need to wait two to eight weeks for all treated hair to fall out.
Hair grows in cycles: 1.) Growth or "active" phase; 2.) Resting phase; and, 3.) Absence phase. Due to the fact that hair is only treatable in the "active" phase of the growth cycle, four to six treatments spaced six to eight weeks apart is "usually" necessary to obtain good hair reduction. Many patients have noted a 70% - 80% reduction after sticking with the treatment regimen as discussed.
Although there are no guarantees , laser hair removal has become one of the most sought after methods for long-term and/or permanent hair reduction, worldwide, with extremely satisfied patients, in most cases.
