For ten years, Nancy Diane Kimber, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. has successfully served the greater Long Beach/Los Alamitos area as a California licensed, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology certified obstetrician and gynecologist.

The daughter of a noteworthy Long Beach family, Dr. Kimber received her undergraduate degree in microbiology with a minor in chemistry from California State University Long Beach before graduating with honors and a master’s in nutrition from the prestigious University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School.
Dr. Kimber completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago in 1998. She then returned home to Southern California where she opened her private practice in Los Alamitos.

Throughout her career, Dr. Kimber’s passion for volunteerism has enabled her to participate in many projects with a strong focus on women and children. She has served the boards of For The Child, The Miller Foundation and Family Services. In addition to her volunteer work, she is a reserve police officer for the city of Long Beach. She is the sexual assault consultant for the Long Beach Police Department as well as the medical advisor to Forensic Nurse Specialists.

Dr. Kimber is an in-demand lecturer to the medical world and her community as well. Her topics have included key issues to women, big businesses and local organizations alike including “Career Opportunities for Women,” “Issues in Hormone Replacement Therapy,” and “Service Above Self.”

In 2006, Dr. Kimber made a decision to no longer practice obstetrics and to focus her practice solely on the care of women and the field of gynecology. To serve the growing needs of her patients, she is adding new procedures to her list of services including: Labiaplasty, Vaginaplasty, Hymenal Ring Revision and Laparoscopic Hysterectomy.

Dr. Kimber looks forward to growing her practice of service to Southern California women while continuing her volunteer work and lecturing.
