Our philosophy is to treat each patient with respect and dignity in a comfortable, friendly environment and to do our best in providing you with service and results that you are happy with.

About Our Lasers
We proudly use Palomar lasers, the highest quality and most technologically advanced lasers available. Palomar Medical is at the forefront of laser research and development and owns multiple patents which other well known companies pay royalties to use. The secret to Palomar's success is in their patented sapphire cooling tip. Because of the degree of cooling we can achieve, we are able to deliver higher energies for better results while maintaining skin safety. While Dr. Shibayama is well trained in the field of aesthetics, she feels that her outstanding results can only be achieved with a powerful and sophisticated partner like Palomar. With this equipment she is confident that she is giving patients the best chance of success compared to other inferior, less expensive lasers. With our three lasers (skin tightening, fractional resurfacing, and IPL) we are able to offer the full complement of skin rejuvenation available only at large laser centers.

About Dr. Shibayama
Dr. Shibayama has been a well known and respected physician in Auburn for over 10 years. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and received her undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley. She then earned her MD at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, and returned to California to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at UC Davis. Upon obtaining her board certification in Internal Medicine, she worked at both Kaiser Permanente in Roseville and UC Davis Medical Group in Auburn before starting her own practice in 2004. Her interest in aesthetic medicine started when she began looking into lasers to improve the pigment in her own skin. Impressed by the results, she decided to add aesthetics to her practice and offer it to patients so that they too may experience healthier, more youthful looking skin.

Dr. Shibayama has received intensive training in the field of aesthetics both in laser medicine and injectable treatments. She is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery as well as the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons. She spends weeks attending conferences and seminars annually to study the most recent advancements and techniques in the field of aesthetic medicine to offer her patients.

In her spare time Dr. Shibayama enjoys spending time with her husband Scott and three dogs Keanu, Zoe, and Yoda. She also likes travelling, wine tasting, hiking, and golf.
