Laser Hair Removal

For people that are traumatized by unwanted hair, or for those that are simply tired of the arduous task of shaving, laser hair removal is the answer. Here's how it works. Hair grows in three stages and the technology of today allows hair follicles to be treated during the growth stage. Hair follicles do not all enter the growth stage at the same time, therefore, a series of treatments is suggested. The IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) laser targets the pigment of the hair and disables the follicle. Within two weeks the hair will continue to push out until it reaches the surface of the skin, then it should simply fall out. Over time you will notice a reduction in the need to shave. New hair that grows will be finer, lighter, and will grow more slowly. Since "satisfaction" is a relative term, the number of treatments you need will ultimately be determined by your individual goal.
